From Monday 23 March 2020, every learner in Wales will be able to access Hwb Services, which includes Microsoft Office. Schools no longer need to approve consent. Hwb login details have been issued to students previously.

Following a number of requests from Year 11 pupils to wear non uniform to school, we have agreed that this is acceptable tomorrow.

Letter for students who were due to attend A Monter Calls trip.
Following the announcement by the first minister today, I write to inform you that we have taken the decision that the school will be closed completely to pupils on Friday to enable staff to prepare effectively for distance learning.
The school will remain open for examination classes in Y11/12&13 and for collection of any work on Thursday by these students.
My thoughts are with you at this very difficult time and thank you once again for working with us throughout this period.

We are currently awaiting advice from the tour company regarding the trip in July. A letter will be issued once clarification has been confirmed regarding the current travel restrictions.
Sadly due to the current situation and difficulties in sourcing ingredients we have decided to cancel all catering practicals after today. We are monitoring the situation and are looking to see if we can move the planned GCSE catering practicals.
The latest official Government advice is regardless of any previous travel, anyone with a new persistent cough or high temperature (above 37.8oC) should:-
Ø Stay indoors and avoid contact with other people (self- isolate) for 7 days.
Ø Not go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital, but check their symptoms against the call NHS Direct Wales website
Ø Only call NHS Direct on 0845 4647 (or 111 if available in their local area) or your GP for medical advice if advised to do so using the symptom checker, and follow any medical advice.
