Year 10 Business class need your help!

We have negotiated £1500 of equipment and training for free to allow the exciting opportunity for us to house a colony of bees here in school.

We now need to raise funds to purchase the colony and a shed in which to house the hive, so we are asking for your help and having a “BEE THEMED” NON-UNIFORM DAY (Black and / or yellow attire where possible)

The final deadline for pupils to sign up for or amend their Enrichment Day Trip is this Friday

morning, 6th July.    There is limited availability, so places will be allocated on a first come first served basis with only full payment and consent forms accepted.  Payment and consent forms need to be handed in to the Finance Office by Friday morning latest  as the office will be closed in the afternoon.

• Bristol Zoo  -  English Department (Miss L Banks)
• Cardiff Bay Bowling  -  Languages Department (Miss L Davies)
• Paintballing  -  Science (Mr M Castle)
• Team Assault Course - Business (Mrs K Joyce)

We'd like to make all students, parents and carers aware of an app that is becoming increasing popular with young people.  This app allows users to stream live over the Internet to an unknown audience.  Please see the link below which highlights the potential dangers and offers safety advice.

The school welcomes recent communication from the Local Authority that the Welsh Government have released a Written Statement (extract below) relating to a new PDG Access Grant to support families.  As soon as the school receives further information, it will be communicated to eligible students and their families.
