Students at St Martin’s School, Caerphilly decided to think globally and take part in the ‘Send My Friend to School’ campaign. This year the campaign focused on raising awareness of the 37 million children in school as a result of war, crisis and natural disasters. Year 9 students asked the school “to help us change people’s lives,” by showing video clips, making a back pack and writing messages to world leaders. As part of the campaign’s day of action on 24^th June, these messages have now been sent to Wayne David MP.
