Intergeneration Club
Intergeneration Club
St Marin’s School is pleased to announce that they will be holding an Intergenerational Club on the last Wednesday of every month, from 2.00 – 3.00pm.
The club is aimed at uniting younger and older residents within the area through a variety of activities on a regular basis.
Those who attend the session will be offered refreshments, followed by a range of activities such as art sessions, board games, bingo and reading. The Goldie’s singing charity will also be in attendance to host a sing-along with songs from the 50s, 60s and 70s.
St Marin’s School will also survey the participants to find out what activities would be popular for future sessions.
Some ideas are: Hanging Baskets, Beauty and Relaxation session in partnership with the local College, Cake Decoration, Bingo, Musical session, and Flower arranging.
Quote for the first Intergen club “I think this went extremely well, it was fun to get to know people of a different age group” Shay year 11.
